In the spacious and elegant master bedroom suite, the Husk bed – designed by Patricia Urquiola – and bedside pedestals are all from B&B Italia (bebitalia.com), and these are paired with bold Lampe de Marseille wall-mounted lamps, which were originally designed by Le Corbusier for the Unité d’Habitation of Marseille in 1949-1952 and are made by Nemo Lighting (nemolighting.com). The rug is from Moooi (moooi.com).
In the master suite’s bathroom, the vanity, bathtub and fixtures are all from Lavo Bathroom Concepts (lavo.co.za).
This is a house filled with dramatic design appeal, but the loveliest element of all remains the all-natural panorama that encompasses both pristine mountainside and the bold expanse of ocean. As the owners say, while they appreciate and enjoy spending time in every room of their home, it remains a “privilege to wake in the mornings to the wonderful views”.
