The Disruption Sirron Norris
After an interview, Bouchard hired Norris to illustrate the full pilot of Bob’s Burgers . After a few years, the pilot was picked up and all of Norris’ original designs are still used to this day. “I can’t believe I’m a part of cartoon history as an artist... and my name is on a show that probably won’t end,” Norris remarked. Today, Norris is a well-respected commercial artist who has multiple upcoming commissioned pieces. He also teaches an animation summer camp, which he transformed into an online course during Covid-19. Whether it be through his murals, his designs on Bob’s Burgers , or his impact on his community, Norris has certainly etched himself into cartoon and San Francisco history.
