Anate breathes life into his dreams, cutting, coloring, fashioning , and
Anate, a young creative himself, feels inspired by other up and coming talents from around the world, including painter Oh De Laval, whose thought provoking works are bright and fantastical.. Her sultry, dream-like painting, “To Feel Live” in particular is a source of awe and freeing inspiration for Anate. Like Oh De Laval, Anate harnesses the power of the subconscious and the inevitable imprint that it leaves behind in his own designs. In the process of bringing his dreams to life, Anate breathes life into his dreams, cutting, coloring, fashioning, and refashioning them into wearable, timeless art. Anate lifts up those around him by collaborating with fellow Nigerian creatives and social figures like Temi Otedola. The actress and blogger wore a look from the newest Vicnate collection to the L’Oreal X Glamour Magazine June event, which celebrated the unveiling of the newest cover with Otedola’s own image. When asked what it was like to work with Otedola’s team, Anate reflects on the experience with fondness. “Temi is absolutely fabulous and she represents the brand very well. For a very long time I’d been wanting to do something with her… I’m very grateful.” Otedola is supportive of local talent as well, appearing in Vicnate’s Instagram comments voicing her adoration for the brand’s work.
