B orn and raised in the Philippines, Jemina Ty has always had a love for the ocean and a passion for sustainable fashion. As her business was expanding, so did her ambitions. Initially, Ty’s goal was to combine these two passions and create a bikini label. She couldn’t imagine that her long-shot venture would put her on the Forbes CEO Under 30 list one day. Achieving high recognition at a young age was the driving force to continue running her business. Ty managed to break down stereotypes about females, specifically Filipino women, in leadership positions while serving as an inspiration for other young women.
